Insider TV: Lightning not looking ahead with bye week looming

BRANDON, Fla. – The Lightning went through their final practice before departing for Friday’s game Minnesota (8 p.m. EST, NBCSN, 970-AM) to start a two-game trip that concludes in Winnipeg on Saturday.

The session at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon on Thursday served as the final practice for Tampa Bay for more than a week as the team enters its bye week, a new wrinkle all teams will experience this year with a week between games. But before the players start thinking about relaxation time, there is still work to be done.
