Insider TV: Tampa Bay Lightning concentrate on situational play during practice

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Bay returned to the ice to prepare for Thursday’s game against the Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports Sun, 970-AM on Thursday.

For the 60-plus minute session at Amalie Arena, the coaching staff put the team through a series of situational drill, from power play, 3-on-3 play and even some sudden death shootout scenarios. The players were divided in to two groups, so there was a running score kept from the drills and winner declared by the end of practice.
